CHLORAMINE-T
| As chloramine-T dissolves it slowly breaks down to produce hypochlorous acid (HOCl),
which in turn releases chlorine and oxygen. Chloramine T kills bacteria which infect and kill fish.
Bacterial gill disease and infectious trematodes (FLUKES) are eradicated.
Chloramine T is a pale powder which is powerful against bacterial and parasitic infections. Complete, written dosing recommendations are always enclosed with the medicine. If used at too high a dose, Chloramine T can "burn" the fishes' skin. It can kill beneficial filter bacteria so users are expected to bypass treated-water flow around their filters.
